Anonymous & Directed Egg Donations in San Diego
At Asian Egg Bank, most egg donors are anonymous, meaning they are donating
their egg to any couple that may be a match and has selected them based
on the results of their screening process. As an anonymous donor, your
name and other personal identifying information will be kept confidential
and you will not meet with the people receiving the donation unless both
parties desire to do so.
Sometimes, couples have a friend or family member who is willing to donate
an egg for them. This is called a directed donation. Our facility will
screen the donor you have selected to ensure they are a suitable match
and begin the egg retrieval process.
Regardless of whether you are an anonymous or direct donor, an attorney
can review the rights you do and do not have as a donor before the donation
takes place. We cover all costs pertaining to attorney fees for donors.
